Friendly efficient welcome. Very shady unpowered sites. Very clean amenities with all we needed, including camp kitchen with fridge, hot plates etc. They even had a water truck to damp the tracks and cool it all down on a very hot afternoon! How’s that for service? LOVED the fire fly show in the bushes around our campsite on dusk! Magical!
Bitter Springs Caravan park is great re location. You can park your van and either drive, walk or cycle up to the springs very easily. We picked a great site that had terrible Starlink service so that really impacted our trip but the whole grounds themselves are stunning. There's a river that runs through the grounds which is so cool and the park really is huge. Only thing missing for me is an oven in the camp kitchen but honestly, it has everything you need for a great stay.

Great park in bush setting. Paul takes you to your site, well set out & run efficiently. We had huge powered site. Amenities shower/toilet combo, rustic vibe, very clean with hand wash & paper towel. A great relaxed atmosphere here, thermal springs only short distance. They ran a film night when we were there too. Highly recommend, would have stayed longer if could.
Arrived just after 9am and lucky to get a powered site. Lady on reception so welcoming and professional. Amenities spotless. Location is fantastic and only 5 minute walk to beautiful natural heated springs. Float down with a pool noodle to enjoy nature’s serenity
Had a nice big and shady site that felt very private in a busy caravan park (unpowered #10). An easy walk to the springs which are so worth a visit (preferred this to Mataranka pools). More natural feeling and fun to drift in the current. On-site caravan repair person could be useful too! Plus car wash spot for gold coin donation. Very useful after returning from East Arnhem Land!
Great bush caravan park. Nice sized sites. Clean amenities. Short walk to the Springs. Lots if shade.
Yes it's close to the springs but now that you need a parks pass I'm not sure that's an advantage. The caravan park up the road was cheaper. Our site was very dusty. Ablution block was ok. Showered with three frogs or maybe two toads and a frog . Plenty of space between us and neighbours.
Best place to stay when going to Bitter Spings. It's an easy, less than 10min walk. Facilities were really clean. Staff were friendly. The springs were amazing.
